Daylilies

What makes one daylily better than another?
That's what gardeners are asking!
Dr. Darrell Apps, world-renowned daylily authority, says Trophytaker®
Daylilies are the answer.
"Trophytaker® is what makes one Daylily better than
anothersm."
Learn the whole story: How can I be sure a daylily is great?
Standards. A Trophytaker® must meet or exceed set standards in the
following six categories:
- Beauty: Most older daylilies don't have the vigor or substance of
today's hybrids. A Trophytaker® must reflect the beauty of modern
daylilies.
- Hardiness: The biggest chunk of hybridization is focused southward
where hardiness is not first priority. Trophytaker® must be hardy to
at least zone 5.
- Clump: Many daylilies are slow increasers. Gardeners want a
nice clump now. A Trophytaker® will triple fans the first year.
- Bloom: We compare Trophytaker® to average daylilies. The
average daylily blooms 21 days at our research site. Trophytaker®
daylilies must at least double average, blooming a minimum of 42 days at
this research site.
- Foliage: Many daylilies surrender to the elements by
mid-summer: a Trophytaker® keeps attractive foliage till late in the
season.
- Resistance: Some daylilies are predisposed to mites, thrips and soft
rot. Trophytaker® must be as insect and disease resistant as possible
Trophytaker® are propagated vegetatively only so they're true to form, then
grown to root and flower maturity in 2g (8") pots. Each comes
with a giant color pot tag explaining the Trophytaker® story, a detailed
description of its outstanding features and instructions for planting and care.
That's what makes one Daylily better than another... Trophytaker®.
Enjoy distinction, value, and do it with confidence.
